Meet the Doctor

Dr. Manson is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic -West. Dr. Manson specializes in manual manipulation as well as activator method technique. The activator method provides a gentle, low-force chiropractic adjustment. This technique works well for children and elderly patients.

What sets us apart? Dr. Manson combines chiropractic manipulation combined with Myofascial Release. Dr Manson worked for Lucy Whyte-Ferguson, D.C. for seven years. Dr. Ferguson is recognized as a world expert in the treatment of Myofascial Pain. Dr Ferguson worked directly with Janet Travell M.D. who coined the term Myofascial Pain Syndrome and Trigger Point Therapy. Dr. Manson assisted Dr. Ferguson teach Myofascial Release Technique at UNM Medical School.

Myofascial Release is extremely effective in treating chronic pain. It involves applying pressure to the myofascial connective tissue or trigger points. The benefits of myofascial release include increased range of motion, improved flexibility, and reduced pain

Additionally, Dr. Manson treats each patient as a unique individual. He is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest level of care. His treatment protocol involves patient participation in home-based stretches. Each patient who does the prescribed stretches achieves his or her goal of getting better much more quickly!
